Our Story
The beginnings
Our company was originally founded by our father, Sándor Valach, who had started with modest means but with hard and humble work he managed to lay the foundations.
The first paprika processing plant was co-founded by him and his partner in 1994 – this was “Sipi & Co.”. The company was extended and modernized over the years by them.
Since 1999, the profits have been reclaimed for the purchase of lands. Our father contributed the constant development with plenty of innovative ideas, finding a way to keep the trajectory thus making the business sustainable in the long run.
And even though we, his children were heading towards different directions, we eventually returned home to share the workload in the family venture thus helping our business prosper.
We might have a different educational background and perspective, but that’s exactly why make a perfect team.
Recently
We found our second company, Valach Land Ltd. in 2014 which is a 100% family-owned business.
The name is a reminder of how hard and long the road has been from the beginning.
As of now, our business has nearly 100 acres of orchard, 50 acres of forest and 40 acres of sward. We can process 5-6000 quintals of paprika during one season, plus we also built a separate fruit processing plant– not to mention the other plans we are designing as we speak.
It is vital for us that our family be together in the meantime. We give our utmost since all we have was created by our family.
